The recording and performing artist, Jacques Mees, goes back a long time in the world of Americana music.

He was born in 1959 in Moergestel, The Netherlands and started playing guitar at the age of 9.

Often referred to as the Dutch Bob Dylan, he has been traveling extensively and performing for many years in front of international audiences. As an original singer-songwriter in his own right and as a popular Bob Dylan Tribute Artist, Jacques has often accepted invitations to appear on many radio shows around the world. The songs you will hear on some of his albums are written by his closest mentors and heroes, namely Bob Dylan, Townes van Zandt, John Prine and Guy Clark.

Jacques aspires to one day host his own radio show, but in the meantime, he is focusing on releasing many more original and tribute songs and albums. Audiences from Europe and the USA find him endearing and are captivated by his sincerity and vocal timbre. He chooses to record his music at the illustrious Triple Moon Studios www.triplemoonstudios.nl accompanied by a talented team of professional musicians.
